Our membership is made up of people in a variety of roles including: Heads of College (e.g. Principals, Directors, Masters, Wardens etc), Deputy Heads, Deans, Business and Finance Managers, Operational Managers, Finance Officers, Project Managers, Administrative Staff, Conference Managers and Residential Staff (Tutors, Resident Advisors etc.).

Edwina Ellicott
University of Wollongong

After many years working in the private sector in Sydney holding senior roles in marketing, sponsorship, large scale event management, and professional education, Edwina moved to Wollongong, joined the higher education industry, and found herself working in an industry that was way off her radar, student housing. She hasn’t looked back.

Laura Burge
Deakin Residential Services

Laura first stumbled into the student experience space at the conclusion of her undergraduate studies when, after having lived on campus for four years and taking on various student leadership duties, she was offered a role in the residences at La Trobe University designing and facilitating student leadership training development and establishing short-term overseas community outreach programs. The latter proved to be a particular highlight, resulting in over 500 students undertaking volunteer work in destinations including Thailand, Vanuatu, Cambodia, South Africa, with participants fundraising and donating over $100,000 to communities in need, and industry recognition through an AACUHO Innovation Award in 2013.
